Satsuma Suite Description - 2BR/1BA
Located on the second floor of the west side, our Satsuma Suite is highly versatile to meet a variety of guests' needs. It features two bedrooms, one king and one queen, with a shared bath (shower only), and a shared bay view balcony. See the images below for details of the kitchenette, seating area, bathroom, and both bedrooms. Accommodates up to 4 guests total: 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.
The Satsuma Suite can be rented as a king bedroom and bath or both bedrooms can be rented together and share the bath which is located between the 2 bedrooms Jack and Jill-style. Create a 3BR/2BA arrangement by renting both the Satsuma and the Lotus Suite located directly above the Satsuma. When renting the entire bed and breakfast for a wedding, corporate retreat, etc., this extra space can be useful to increase the number of guests we can accommodate. All guests can enjoy our daily breakfasts in the Bay View Great Room.
Note that the Satsuma Suite has a private entrance by our front door and is on the second floor with no elevator or handicap access. However, we will gladly help carry your belongings both up and down the stairs. Travel up the stairs one more flight to access the Lotus Suite. All three rooms can be locked to protect your privacy.
BR #1- The king bedroom features a spectacular view of Mobile Bay from its large bay window overlooking the bluff. Its plush king-size Murphy bed can be easily folded into the wall to expand the already spacious and comfortable sitting room. This bedroom also features a table to seat 4, access to the balcony, and a convenient kitchenette with a small beverage refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave and snacks.
BR #2- The queen bedroom is also spacious and comfortable and makes a great space for a second couple or for a small family to house their children in an adjoining, yet separate space. This bedroom shares access to the balcony and bath and when rented along with BR #1 also shares the kitchenette in that space. We can also set up a crib in this bedroom if needed.
The Satsuma Suite is not listed online and is only available when you contact us by phone or email.
